Halloween Parties 2007 part 2

This photo was taken Halloween night with Owen's cousins. We went to Stacy's house and ate pizza, then went down to her old neighborhood to trick or treat. This was a great neighborhood to hit. When I asked Owen what kind of face he wanted on his pumpkin, he showed me his Darth Maul face.

Halloween Parties 2007 part 1

This Halloween was filled with a lot of family parties and events. Steve hosted the annual Prisbrey Halloween Extravaganza at his home. The Force was strong as Leia, Vader and Yoda made an appearance. We all had a great time there and always look forward to this gathering. This year we missed Jared, Becka, Lilly and Jackson as they are now living in Las Vegas. Brett, Chris and Hannah were also unable to be there. Next year should be fun as Michael will be home from his mision. Alicia and Ryan invited both sides of the family to their house. We all had a nice time. Alicia and Ryan had a little craft station set up in their basement for the kids. Owen and some of Alicia's nephews painted bats and pumpkins. Alicia and Ryan have a great home in East Ogden. Stacy and Kelly hosted a fun pumpkin carving party. After the pumkins were carved, we sat in front of the fire pit and made smores. Stacy and Kelly have the perfect backyard for parties!

Summer 2007

The summer of 2007 was a fun one. This year Sarah was not stuck indoors because of the heat like she was last year. Sarah gave birth to Eli back in September, 2006 and was very pregnant throughout the summer of 2006. So this year, it was nice to be able to get outside and do all of the fun summer things.

For the 4th of July we went over to the park and looked at the booths. Owen saw some kids walking around with their faces painted so he decided he had to leave the park as Spiderman. Owen loves superheros like Superman, Spiderman and Batman. He also loves some "not so super heros" like Nacho Libre and Darth Vader.

We spent time up at Island Park, ID with Sarah's family. There we visited Yellow Stone National Park. We didn't see any bears but we did see a lot of other wildlife. We also did the annual southern California trip with Steven (Dave's twin brother) and Erica, his wife. This has become a fun tradition. We stay Bill and Jennifer's house in Alta Loma, CA. This year we visited the beach a couple of times and spent a day at Disneyland. We also were able to get up to Bear Lake for "Raspberry Days." We had a fun time swimming in the lake together.

Our Family

This photo was taken in November, 2006 shortly after Elijah's (Eli) baby blessing. We had a nice gathering at our home after church with our families. This is our family: Dave, Sarah, Owen and Eli. Owen was born in February, 2004 and Eli was in Sebptember, 2006. Sarah and Dave were married in July, 2001. We lived behind Ogden High School for almost four years and now live in Layton.
